Can I claim from my health fund for my acupuncture appointment? All practitioners are registered providers with most private health funds. Claims can be made online or at your nearest health fund office. Generally most health funds will not give rebates for additional herbal medicine and supplements. We do not currently have HICAPS. Please note that telehealth appointments at this stage are not claimable through private health insurance.
Are herbal medicines & supplements included in my consultation fee?Herbal prescriptions and supplements incur an additional cost and are not included in the consultation fee.
What if I can’t make my appointment? We have a 24 hour cancellation policy to ensure other clients don’t miss out on appointments. To change your booking please call the clinic. If you are changing your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, a $50 cancellation fee will apply. If you do not show for your appointment, you incur a full consultation fee. Please understand and respect our policy.
As registered health professionals we are required by law to adhere to instructions from the Australian Government Department of Health. Apart from that we want to ensure that all of our clients are kept safe and healthy. You can be assured that we adhere to strict infection control guidelines as per the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. As you know, acupuncture can really help to support your health and wellbeing. However we ask if you have the following symptoms, please get in contact with us.
